196/365 Bamboleo

About a decade before the turn of the century, back when the old gang was in its prime, we would eat many a dinner together, consume many a bottle of wine, and inevitably someone would throw on the Gipsy King’s self-titled CD. It starts with “Bamboleo,” which always managed to get us going, somehow, and remind us that together, the eight of us were our own perfect party.

Wow, I hadn't remembered that Gipsy Kings connection, but you're absolutely right--it was inevitable. What a wonderful memory.

Is the old gang still around, making more memories?

Wish I had a big old gang like that.

Ah, I often miss the old gang. This was back when the eight of us lived in DC, and only three do now. First two to Arizona, then two to Vermont, then one to Florida (eh, Sewa?).

Sadly, there's never been a full reunion. Maybe someday. Maybe not.
