Good morning, IB. I just wanted to tell you that I saw some pictures of hand-tamed hummingbirds the other day, and I'm going to try it this summer if I can get the cats out of the way. It would be super-cool to hand-feed hummers! The woman in the picture had a small red bowl of nectar in the palm of her hand. Wanna do it?
So it's not just me with Blogger, eh? I kept trying to comment on something a few days ago on your blog, Del, and then you deleted it before I had a chance.
Susan: Hand-feed hummingbirds! What an amazing, almost impossible thought!
As a followup to Dan Waber’s x365 project, for which participants wrote about one person a day for a year, Lisa Otter’s starting a 365 project to blog a song a day (a musical memoir writing exercise). Her hub (and the project) is called Dancing about Architecture, based on the Elvis Costello quote: “Writing about music is like dancing about architecture—it’s a really stupid thing to want to do.” To join in, link to her blog. •
I really don’t have time to do this, so most entries will likely be the briefest of notes. • Or maybe I’ll last a day or two and drop out.

Aaah, nap time...
Finally...are the blog gods going to let me comment this time? I've been trying since this morning.
Last week I replaced my old vinyl copy of this with a CD. And I strongly recommend his Discreet Music album.

Del: I just realized you said you got a CD. When I did a search a couple of weeks ago, I couldn't find it on CD. I'll have to look again.
I ordered it from Amazon.
