21/365 Into the Groove
This song is Chicagoland partying in 1985, in both straight and gay bars, but mostly at the one under the Marlboro man, where I saw more cocaine than ever before or since. (Afraid of how good it could be—have you ever heard anyone utter the phrase “I didn’t really like cocaine”?—I’ve still managed to avoid it.) Those cowboys sure loved their Madonna.

I remember sitting in a pub and seeing the "Like a Virgin" video come on the tv. I never could have predicted her staying power.
Man - I can't remember song titles AT ALL.
I'll raise my hand and decalre this...“I didn’t really like cocaine”!!! Honestly, I tried it.
(BO close your eyes/ears.)
It was all this ruggedly good looking guys fault (who was sort of related to me)he got me to try it. It did nothing for me. So at his urging I tried it again, still it did nothing for me.
Good girl Indigo for NEVER partaking. Especially knowing your paranoias about rule breaking, it would have REALLY sent you over the edge.
Deloney: I couldn't have either, and yet now I really like some of her stuff.
LO: Wow. You are the first, and now I can no longer claim to not having heard it! I wonder if a deep love for it, though, could have gotten me OVER my paranoias about rule breaking? Hmmmmm.....
Bennies were a poor man's coke, but they were also bad news.
These days, I simply drink too much.
These days I mostly drink herbal tea.
O.K. I did buy a case of Jerry Garcia Cab. earlier this 07, but I'm typically a one and done kinda' chick.
BTW, I really liked M.Don in Desperately Seeking Susan.
