7/365 Popsicle Toes

Of course, this song is the tour de force of Michael Franks’s The Art of Tea, and this verse falls under the category of “I wish I’d written that.”

You got the nicest North America
this sailor ever saw.
I’d like to feel your warm Brazil
and touch your Panama
but your Tierra del Fuegos
are nearly always froze.
We gotta seesaw til we unthaw those
popsicle toes.

I haven't heard that song in ages.

You must know the Toast song, yes?

"all around the country coast to coast,
people always say what do you like most,
I don't wanna brag i don't wanna boast,
I always tell 'em I like toast.

yeah TOAST yeah TOAST"

I still think he wrote this song about me...
This girl can dream can't she?

I actually had heard about the toast song, but I just looked it up on youtube for the full effect. Most excellent.

L: All we popsicle-toed girls can dream.
